We are a discount food retailer focusing exclusively on the Hispanic consumer in multiple western states. The Human Resources Manager position performs generalist related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas:
*New hire training, employee relations, turnover reports
*Monitoring and managing scholarship programs
*Training, employee reviews, investigations
*Enforcement of policies and procedures
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality while establishing solid relationships with Managers and line employees.
Education/Experience Required:
*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related
*Must be able to perform in a fast paced work environment
*Must possess at least four years of recent/current experience in similar role
*Must have the ability to interact with all levels of employees and internal customers
*Must be fully fluent in spanish with the ability to read and write as well
*Must have knowledge of current and evolving state and federal HR laws and regulations as they apply to CA employment law
This position does require successful completion of:
*Background check to include references, misdemeanor/felony, and drug screen
